And was told yes. We have been staying here for the last 6 years, 2-3xs/yr and we love it. The manager would not fix it and refused any compromise or adjustment. The casino has plenty of slots, video and table gaming to suite any gamblers desire. My room was broke into and my ROKU device stolen, a long with some very expensive jeans and a sweater. (Unfortunately, my extensive slots experience throughout the West gives me considerable street cred. Up to the 9th floor found a small line to get ice as they could not get any either on their floors . We always look forward to our stay there. The swimming pool was large clea and safe place to swim. The pool area was great and clean. We got a 18th floor Riverview room in the California tower. The place was not at all busy and I guess I expected a room on a higher level with a better view. Definitely read yelp reviews before your stay here a ton of people talk about how they are harassed by workers here . After waiting 48 minutes we got a 1 bed "accessible" room no rollin shower. Great gaming facility and nice rooms too. Then I go to check out. We had stayed 2 years ago and got a coupon for free night for each of us. Not so much here, just plan on being on your phone instead. FYI Don't come here with other people and expect all to get in the same tower although one person reserved all the reservations and made that clear at the time of booking - that is clearly way beyond this hotel's abilities. I have been a long time patron of this hotel going back to its days when it was the Flamingo. If a hotel advertises room service, they should offer proper room service with plates and silverware. Only really down side was the river fly swarms all over near the river but that had nothing to do with the hotel. Disgusting. This was our first, and last time staying at this propertywe would never recommend this resort to anyone! Tropicana had experienced difficulties and sent all of their guests to Aquarius. This isn't the Ritz, but a decent room with good restaurant options and a good casino with a wide selection of machines to play. However, the Aquarius may start improving their maintenance, IF they spend the Big Bucks we lost there on it. The casino floors were clean although we did not win anything. When we returned everything went accordingly. The view is pretty nice, even though we didn't pay extra for a river view. Masks required. There was a good sized TV but some cable channel reception (Fox News, CNN, etc.) Machines tight as hell and good luck finding a cocktail waitress. This was probably our 5 visit and each time we have taken one or 2 couples with us all 2 day stays no one has won a jackpot of any kind oh well. This hotel is really do for a remodel. He threatened me with having my truck parked there, and took delight doing so. The room was spacious enough and comfortable. Once we went to the room, the room was in decent shape and for a panoramic room it still had a great and beautifulview of the river. Nothing is open. Buffet is closed for the winter they say. I have confirmed that Housekeeping dusts the rooms every day but the desert is a dusty place so they are not able to keep it dust free. All our experiences were great. I booked for 2 beds and I only got a a room with 1 bed. The Aquarius upgraded all the rooms several years ago and the room quality is still very nice. She had went to the floor in the early morning and i was still in bed. We will share your concerns with our management team. The slots were not very loose but you can't win all the time. The elevator lobby is clean and when you get on the elevator they're just okay clean. Your security guards were very rude! We always stay here when visiting Laughlin. * Tiny TV * AWFUL Pillows that offer no support. We have stayed here many times in the past and loved it. Well I live local but go to laughlin all the time to eat and go to the entertainment and concerts. No smoke smells in room and bed wasn't lumpy. It will quit in the middle of what you are doing when your time is up. Met some new staff who were excellent : Brad - on front desk was very good (joins Brian G as my "go to" check in person at the Aquarius) Jose - casino floor tech was very nice and helpful ! The dinner buffet when we were there, my 'mongolian' stir fry was burnt. It was like a crazy frat party or spring break Cancun every night. The room attendant was fantastic and tidied our rooms daily in a very timely manner. There is a lovely walk along the river but we were unable to do it as there was an invasion of large flying insects that made the walk uncomfortable. He performs his job well and is able to warn my husband prior to a seizure when he is in his stroller close by. I did have an amazing view of the Colorado river from my window. Many photos added of our stay and room. Unfortunately, the coffee produced was nothing to write home about. She was in the bathroom where the panel is located above the shower. No one came to clean even if the sign was on the door. We didn't spend any time in the casino area, so that was helpful. Food at the buffet was awful and the buffet was expensive for what is offered. No response. I've stayed at a couple and walked through them all. We had to go to the riverside casino for the crab dinner buffet because this one was closed. The Casino has a large non-smoking area. Got room in the Calif tower that was smoke free and easily accessed by convenient elevator. Check in clerk did not seem to know what Diamond Elite or Best Western was. The buffet was good with all you can eat crab legs and free margaritas! Kudos to you Camila on providing us with great customer service overall our stay at the Aquarius was a great one!!! It seems like the slots are more loose than the other casinos, and they have the newest titles. Delicious drink at The Cove. Breakfast was at McDonald's which was a bit spendy. We called the front desk on the second day and asked if maintenance could come and check our air conditioner out since only got air was coming out. The location was perfect! I had a blast. We won next to nothing, but the Tropicana was more than forgiving. This does not make it right, by any means, especially when you are not even providing the amenities included in the fee. We make this a destination stop on our annual trip to and from Seattle. Played around at the pool. We can get a smoking room with a king bed or a room with 2 queens. Do not waste your money on what they claim to be "river view." If the line at the front desk was not as long, I would have come down to get a new room, but thankfully housekeeping got someone up there within 30 minutes. Bestthing about the Aquarius is the Outback Steakhouse. Downside was walking thru main lobby and check-in area and having to smell the cigarette smoke. The bedrooms are big and pleasant and have wonderful views from your room. Would recommend. The next person is not guaranteed a tower either correct? She calls and tells the cleaning staff to completely remake the room. The carpets are stained, lumpy, and need to be completely replaced. Every room comes with a fridge, coffee maker and they have very friendly staff. Upon arriving to my room, I found that it had not been touched by room service at all towels on the floor, all trashes, full, bed not made, dirty surfaces, and the ironing board left out (this was the case in 2 of 4 of the rooms we reserved). Also since we dint know what had gone on in our room we asked for bedding to be changed .they won't do that but sent us up linen to change it ourselves. Manager seemed "mystified" and seemed to lack any deportment expected of a manager. This was our first time to Laughlin so I have no other hotels to compare to this one. The bathroom tub could use some good cleaning and touch ups. We were booked in for 1 night stay at the hotel. We spend one day on the lake and the other at the pool. The casino was just like any other. All in all, we enjoyed our 2 night stay at the hotel. The room was clean, neatly in order and had a good aroma. The reason I wanted a panoramic view room was because the sun comes up over the mountains on the other side of the river and is very pretty. Room for 2 nights came out to less than $200 and at the time of booking there is a $68 charge, I didn't mind the charge, but nowhere on the website when reserving the room does it say you are being charged, I though well damn that's shady but ok cool. My complaint was the beds were very uncomfortable, very stiff which caused me pain when I got up. Excited to visit with friends & recommended the Aquarius from an experience a couple years ago. We booked Aquarius as a stopover hotel on our Journey from McCarron Airport to Grand Canyon Village. What I didn't realize that in slow season a number of the restaurants in the hotel would not be open. Requested a non smoking room but we did get a river view on the 14th floor which was a smoking floor on the "Adult Tower" which later we found out had screaming kids running up & down the hallways and tons of families in the so called Adult Tower! Easy walk on the boardwalk from Don Laughlin Riverside you can check out all the casinos and then take the water taxi down to Harrah's. The housekeeping attendant told me that the problem was caused by the self-check-in kiosk! The room is clean and sound proof. There were clear signs to say no cooking but not a single one against cigarettes. Great room rates but I ate at the breakfast buffet twice because one of my friends insisted. Amber at the front desk was so nice and accommodating. The casino floor was well staffed and everything you would expect from a casino. There are plenty of restaurants and the food was good everywhere I ate. Internet was good. The temperature of the water coming out of the hot water spout however was EXTREMELY hot. The United States Bureau of Reclamation owns and operates the dam, which was completed in 1951. The boat and RV parking is across the street so there are not people walking through the lot for no reason. Price is only $10. I searched for hotels that were pet friendly and this one was the #1 in town. The heater was set for summer which means it wouldn't go above 65 degrees. Food services need to review this chefs skills. Parking was free or valet. NO security measures are being enforced at all! There are several eateries on the property, to fit all tastes and pocket books. There is an indoor parking area but I feel better in full public view. My wife and I had to wait at least ten or more minutes before a server appeared to take our order. Never been to Laughlin so wanted to see if it was going to be great here. Anyway, the room was ok. We paid for a river view. The casino is nice, big, and in the best location in Laughlin. The hotel was ok. Cove restaurant with appetizers and pizza was very good. Alvaro was at the front desk and checked us in, quickly, efficiently and with a smile. On what was supposed to be our 4th day we left and checked in at the Laughlin River Lodge. We frequent Laughlin often as so cal residents and normally this place is amazing. People are allowed to smoke in the casino and there are designated area where you are not able to smoke. I was able to use the pool the next day but I spoke with other guests that had been there for days and the pool was closed. Many attractions within a short driving distance. They gym remains closed due to Covid-19. I liked the food court area with MCDonalds, Subway, a Coffee Shop, and a gift shop. Thank you for your kind review. Overjoyed, because not I could pay cash for the wheelchair. A perfect location with a view. Bait and switch!!!!! As with most older hotels, this one also looked like it may need a "freshening" up. Our room rate was particularly low due to the time of year. We had a great view out to the Colorado River and over to Bullhead City. I have reviewed this property before but my wife and I just got back from spending three nights for New Year's Eve. Super sucked. Rooms very nice and clean. It was never crowded and the service was good. The crew that keeps the rooms up do a fantastic job. Had a small moving van and couldnt figure out where to park, so went though front and asked a valet where to park and check in. Didn't have much of a view as was hoping for a river view but only staying 1 night. None to very little play. The rooms also boast free wi-fi. Nice non smoking sports book. The restaurants are great, The casino floor is well laid out, and very spacious. Check in was slow, as expected with covid. Every room has a view of the water. There is some metal piece covering the ?expansion? The resort pool is new.
