I thought it was the seal, i think it gets blocked open, depending on whats in it. It works well, no issues. ProductReview.com.au has affiliate partnerships. Just empty and shake out the dust/dirt container into a bin after each use and before putting it back on its base. Sounds like a rattling bearing or something, mainly happens when powering the thing off. I've had two of these and you couldn't replace the battery.which of course expired just out of warranty!!
